Our first Project Spotlight goes to our project director, Dr. David Byrne! Dr. Byrne is also a professor of Horticultural Sciences at Texas A&M University. He hopes this project will address the unique challenges within the polyploid crop breeding community and help develop computational tools for the future of the field. In addition to the polyploids project, he also oversees the Rose Breeding and Genetics program at Texas A&M University. You can follow both projects on Twitter @polyploidtools and @TAMU_roses! |
